Katie Pladl Mother’s name is Alyssa Pladl. Alyssa Gracia, then 15, and Steven Pladl, then 20, went online in 1995. They began dating, and soon after, Alyssa became pregnant.
In January 1998, she gave birth to a girl named Denise. The couple were young and poor at the time, and according to Alyssa, Steven was violent towards his daughter.
According to her, Steven would pinch his little daughter until her body was completely black and blue. Through it all, Alyssa stuck by Steven and eventually married him.

But when Denise was eight months old, Alyssa decided to give her up for adoption out of concern that her daughter wouldn’t have a healthy childhood.
Katie Fusco became Denise’s new name after Anthony adopted her. She moved to Dutchess County, New York, the home of Anthony and Kelly.
Katie was cared for by loving foster parents who treated her like their own.

At Dover High School, Katie became a talented student who excelled in creating comics. She intended to go to college and work in digital advertising after graduation.
In January 2016, Katie turned 18 and began to wonder who her birth parents would be. After finding them on social media, she searched for her real parents and sent Alyssa and Steven a text.
His reunion with his parents made his parents happy. After graduation, Katie had intended to attend a nearby university, but she ultimately decided to move in with her birth parents.
Steven and Alyssa’s union was already under threat. Before Katie arrived, the couple shared separate beds for several months.
She even told Katie that her biological father abused her when she was a baby, but Katie thought nothing of it.

On July 20, 2017, in Parkton, Maryland, Steven Pladl married his daughter Katie, two months after finalizing his divorce from Alyssa.
In the application, they claimed they were not in a relationship so the wedding could go off without a hitch.
Steven’s parents and Katie’s adoptive parents attended the wedding ceremony along with many other guests.
Katie’s foster parents wanted to foster her happiness and believed that she was old enough to make her own decisions.
