Troy, the Dallas Cowboys, was the team with which American quarterback Kenneth Aikman spent 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
He received a transfer scholarship from Oklahoma, won the Davey O’Brien Award at UCLA, and was selected first overall by the Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft.
From 1992 to 1995, Aikman won three Super Bowl titles and was selected to six Pro Bowls. The Super Bowl XXVII MVP award also went to Aikman.

Charlyn Marie Bailey Aikman, 80, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on November 9, 2022. Charlyn was welcomed by Mark and Thomasin Bailey in Long Beach, California.
Although Charlyn had never met a stranger and could talk to anyone about almost anything, she was shy. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She loved her friends, her family, sports, and sewing. Devoted members of her family will always treasure a handmade throw, pillow or wall hanging that she made just for them.
Her house was a haven of love, warmth, and an abundance of sparkles (her favorite colors)! She loved vacations and she made plans for each month in advance.

Charlyn was quite happy with the beautiful family she had created. Terri Starns (Rich), Tammy Powell (Mike) and Troy Aikman are her surviving children.
He is also survived by his grandchildren Brooke Green (Mike), Brady Foreman, Drew Powell (Carolyn), Reid Powell, Jordan Aikman, and Ally Aikman, as well as his great-grandchildren Charlyn “Charlie” Green and Bryn Green. Also survived by her sister Melanie Osendorf and her brother Mark Bailey (Diane).
