Monica also raved about her husband’s 50th birthday surprise. She wrote: “Truly an amazing 50 year celebration. Jim surprised me with a weekend in Hermann and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Our cabin at Hermannhoff Inn reminded me of a Tuscan cabin. An amazing dinner at the Alpenhorn, followed by a weekend visiting distilleries and wineries. The house wurst smelled amazing and Jim loved the cigar bar… then on the way home we visited my friend’s new wine bar, Oak and Front, in Washington, MO. Wow, I’m so proud of her… she’s beautiful.”
She concluded the post: “Started my birthday with my brother Craig and his fiancée Amy at Sqwires with a delicious breakfast and ended with my mum taking care of our fur babies and making me a money tree…she is amazing…my brother Brian and my sister-in-law Tina came over last night to celebrate. I love you all. My husband’s soldier just had knee surgery and he pampered me even more. He’s the best.”
