He was 85 years old. He also appeared in a recurring role as the second person on the CBS revival of the series, which premiered in 2010. A one-hour pilot for the rebooted show, titled Hawaii Five-0, premiered on CBS on September 20,2010, and the series began airing Monday nights at 10:00 PM ET, 9:00 PM ET in October 2010 .The new Hawaii Five-0 features the same main characters as the original, and late father Steve McGarrett’s 1974 vintage Mercury Marquis is the same car that Lord drove in the last seasons of the old series.
