PUMA, one of the world’s largest sportswear manufacturers, has introduced singer Davido as a brand ambassador who will help promote the company’s business in the African market. Atlanta-born Nigerian musician Davido said it was amazing to become an ambassador for PUMA’s Sportstyle collections. and the iconic T7 track pants. Mandy News recalls that the main international sports brands canceled their contract to renew Wizkid and on Friday they presented David as their brand ambassador.

On why the company chose David as an ambassador, EEMEA Distribution General Manager Johan Kuhlo said;
“The signing of David is both a clear commitment to Africa as a key market and a sign that African culture is increasingly relevant on a global scale”

Davido responded by saying;
“I saw the kind of family PUMA has built with Usain Bolt, Maradona, Neymar, Jay Z, Nipsey, Rihanna, Lewis Hamilton, among other superstars, and I thought, what an amazing family to be a part of! This all adds to my excitement to work with this brand and take it to the next level in Nigeria, Africa and with fans around the world.”
