A woman who brought a doll into her home claims it is haunted, and since taking it, she has been dealing with increased paranormal activity at her residence. An event host at The Scottish Ghost Company, the woman also said her dog started behaving strangely after she brought the doll.

Yvonne Hydes told Glasgow Live that she took the doll home and placed it in the spare room. She claimed that since then strange things have been happening in her house. According to her, random objects were moving from their places, and she also heard banging. Hydes said she even saw the doll blink.
How did Hydes get the doll?
“One of the member’s friends brought him a doll after he was on holiday in the north of England. They bought it in a charity shop. Many people hand us such things. “Most of the dolls I have are all my hands so they don’t bother me at all, but that night in Provan Hall I was sitting in the primary room and she made me feel uncomfortable,” Hydes told Glosgow Live, explaining how she came across the doll.
“I brought her into the house and she was sitting in the spare room. Everything was fine for a few days, but then I started to notice some knocking. My family and I heard a very loud knocking to the point that we jumped, and the dog freaked out but no one was at the door. We checked the ring bell and no one was there. My husband doesn’t believe in anything paranormal but even he heard it. The knocking continued but it started coming from upstairs and continued for several days before what he stopped”, she claimed.
“Suddenly my cocker spaniel didn’t like the doll being in the room. It started barking at the doll and shaking,” she added.
The company she works for also shared a video of the dolls on Instagram. Members of the organization believe they saw the doll blinking while recording the video.

What does Hydes plan to do next?
Hydes currently has the doll in the back of his car. She told the paper that she would only present it for investigations and events. “She is in a black bag in the trunk of the car and she is not coming back to the house yet. Since it’s been in the trunk, it’s been quiet. Maybe I’ll bring her back and see what happens,” she said.
