World Mental Health Day 2023: Date, History, Theme & Significance

Our emotional, psychological and social well-being is part of our mental health. How we deal with life affects how we think, feel and behave. In addition, it affects how we react to stress, communicate with others and make decisions. Every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence to adulthood and aging, places importance on mental health, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As of 2019, more than 970 million people worldwide suffer from mental illness at some point in their lives.
