User X’s post about Elon Musk drawing inspiration from a Hollywood movie on part of the Starship design prompted a response from the CEO of SpaceX himself. The user shared that Musk made the Starship ‘spiky’ after taking inspiration from a scene depicted in The Director.

“Just a reminder before the second Starship launch: Elon Musk made the ship spicier because of the movie ‘The Dictator,’” tweeted an X user who goes by the name DogeDesigner. He also shared a video showing the scene mentioned in the post.
What is the ‘spiky’ scene missing from The Dictator?
In the film, Admiral General Aladeen, the authoritarian ruler of the fictional nation of Wadiya, asks his engineers with displeasure why his missiles are not ‘pointed’ and blunt-headed. “It’s too round at the top. It has to be pointed,” Aladeen says in the film.
Elon Musk retweeted the tweet and shared an emoji to react. He shared a “100” emoticon which generally means “absolutely”.

Elon Musk reacted to the post a few hours ago. It has since gone viral. So far, the tweet has garnered nearly 17.8 million views, and the numbers are only growing. The share also received tons of likes.
