Xavier “Two” Lewis was born to father Alex Crittle Jr.
Alex Jr. was born the fourth of five children to parents Ruby and Alex Crittle Sr. in Atlanta, Georgia on April 29, 1963. Alex’s brothers were Tony (wife Sheryl), Jimmy, Donald, and George Crittle.
At least three of his brothers died before him. His brother Jimmy died on September 9, 2005, at the age of 46. Jimmy graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1976. He worked as a machinist at Conklin Metal Industries for ten years before becoming ill. He was one of the original members of the Ministry of Blood and Fire.
Alex Jr. attended and graduated from public schools in Atlanta.
Alex Jr. earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Auburn University. He worked as a mechanical engineer for more than 25 years until his health deteriorated. He has worked for companies such as Equifax, Colliers International, Grubb & Ellis, and Jones Lang Sasalle.
Before he died, he was married to Leah Miller in 2006. Together they had a blended family of seven children and four grandchildren.
