As former Indian cricketer Virendra Sehwag turns 45 today, his friend and former colleague Yuvraj Singh took to Instagram and shared a special post for the batsman, but with a humorous twist. Yuvraj mentioned something that the cricketer whose pet name is Veeru and the character Veeru from the movie Sholay have in common.

“What is common between team Veeru of Sholay and Veeru of India,” wrote the all-rounder. Yuvraj drew parallels between the nickname given to Sehwag and the legendary Sholay character Veeru, played by Dharmendra.
“Happy birthday brother! We wish you a year full of health and happiness. Lots of love always”, he added further and concluded his post with a tender photo of the two of them.
Yuvraj Singh’s humorous post also received a reply from Virendra Sehwag who wrote, “Thank you dear Yuvi.”
